The competition’s goal was looking for an innovative concept for a new bridge on Spree river where is isolated and laid back area of Berlin. The new bridge will add a new connection between two banks, also enhancing the current environment.

There have been many great bridge concepts on Spree river and other places, so this concept had to be really innovative. Starting from a fishing tools made from bamboo are kind of strong itself and open, the concept featured this tool with its lively apperance, eye catching, adding some new values for the everyday life here and did make a remark in the area.

The lattice vault did make space for decorating seasonly. When spring comes, flowers will be blooming above. In summer, lively lattice-shaped sun shades print on bridge surface. While in winter, snow comes down through the vault. Those experience truly makes pass-byers always feel connected to the environment.
